Tails of Faith

    Once upon a time in a peaceful suburban neighborhood, there lived two very different but inseparable friends, Max the corgi and Winston the German shepherd. Max was a small and stocky fellow with fluffy ears and a big heart, while Winston was a tall and majestic dog, known for his intelligence and loyalty.     One sunny afternoon, Max and Winston found themselves basking in the warmth of their favorite park. They often spent their afternoons there, chasing squirrels and rolling in the grass.     Once upon a time, there was a little corgi named Max who loved to take walks in the park with his owner. One day, while they were on their usual stroll, they came across a large cross standing in the middle of an open field.      Max's owner was curious about the cross, so they walked closer to take a look. As they approached, they saw that the cross was completely empty, with no figure of Jesus or any other religious symbol on it.      Max, being a curious and adventurous corgi, walked up to the base of the cross and lay down at its foot. His owner smiled and watched as Max rested there, seemingly enjoying the peaceful atmosphere of the field.      As they sat there together, Max's owner began to reflect on the meaning of the empty cross.
